...they work really well. Even if you have never been able to keep plants alive, you will with this planter. I tend to check the water level every few days, but only have to fill it about once a month. Talk about worry free and easy! They come in many colors, shapes and sizes. I'm saving up to get one of the tall ones to grow a rubber tree in the house. They are nice looking and very easy to deal with.

have a well for keeping water so that if you go out of town for a two or three days in warm weather your flowers and plants won't all die from the heat. This is especially nice since it's designed to hold the plant containers for herbs purchased at the local grocery store. We have several planters and they are quite simply the best we have found. They are far superior to anything Gardeners sell or most of the other Garden supply magazines and online stores.

I needed to transplant my maidenhair fern and read about this pot on a website I went to for advice on this process. I have had it for a week or so and it is very easy to see when I need to add water to the unit. My fern is very happy with lots of new growth. I am very pleased.
